Worship

Our Worship Service is held each Sunday at 11.15 a.m. and is conducted by our minister, Rev. Adam J. Dillon.

Our praise is organ-led and we sing from Church Hymnary 3 and our own Praise book which is made up of modern hymns and songs drawn from Church Hymnary 4, Mission Praise, Junior Praise, Songs of God's People and Common Ground..

Communion Services are held four times each year on the last Sunday of January, April, June and October. The Services in January and June are joint Services with Wamphray Parish Church, one of our linked churches. At the April and October Communion there are also Services in the evening at 6.00 p.m.

Services of worship are open to all. The Church of Scotland also applies an open table policy to services of Holy Communion in that they are open to those who are not communicant members of the congregation. It is also possible for children to participate fully in services of Holy Communion. St. Andrew’s is linked with Kirkpatrick-Juxta Parish Church and Wamphray Parish Church and services are held in these Churches each Sunday at 9.45 a.m. and 10.00 a.m. respectively.
